Success Farm Nigeria

The challenge in our development cooperation is to invest donations in such a way that the project can sustain itself. We have therefore decided to buy a piece of land that can be sustainably maintained by the local community through agriculture and livestock farming.

In the south-western Nigerian Edo state, the Christian Omonowan community has set up the Success Farm. Livestock farming is the main focus here. We have built stables that offer cows, sheep, goats and chicken protection from the strong sunlight. The rest of the land is being used to grow maize, cassava and cashew nuts. Inflation is very high in Nigeria and hunger and poverty have become a security problem. This is why we had to build a high fence around the compound to protect it from break-ins and theft. Thanks to the support of patrols by the local police, we are optimistic that the proceeds can be used profitably to maintain and grow the farm.

The stables and farm land are made available to individuals and families to secure their investment in animals. In the long term, the aim is to create a motivated and efficient farm project that can be multiplied in a copy paste system.

In December 2024, the Success Farm was opportune to return their Firstfruits to the Omonowan Community due to the occasion of the Celebration of Life of the late cofounder James Ohue. More than 1,000 community members, friends and well-wishers of the Eror Community, in Uromi, Edo State Nigeria attended this prestigious festivity in honour of the co-founder of the Success Farm.

Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

Virtues and values for children - with fun and music

Spending quality time together not only blesses the children, but also our volunteers. We want to inspire children of nursery and school age with creative handicraft, painting, backing and music projects. We make sure that we transport values with lots of fun.

"You are valuable, you are unique and you are loved." is our motto. With various events, we bring godly virtues and beliefs into dialogue and put them to the test in creative projects. Our aim is instruct children from an early age and to give them wisdom for life.

Our children events always bring people of different nationalities and cultures together with a lot of joy and fun. We are committed to fight racism and to bridge between nations and cultures.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22,6

Programme Alimentaire Charitable au Togo PAC

We have experienced long-term friendships between nations and people in our development cooperation projects. Our mission focus is securing the survival of disadvantaged families. We want to create economic structures and secure livelihoods.

In French-speaking Togo, around 600 km away from the Nigerian farm project, we have also implemented an agricultural project, PAC Programme Alimentaire Charitable - Nourriture pour l'Arche, with the Christian El Shaddai community. A large piece of land is cultivated with rice, maize, manioc and beans and there are also some cattle on the farm. The ability of the community, that has many financially weak members, to feed itself from the farm's produce has unleashed a great deal of gratitude, a new unity and a lot of fresh motivation. The community was able to raise money for the construction of a meeting tent from the proceeds of the farm. The 300-people community can now look forward to a roofed wooden structure in which village and church services can take place.

"We are very happy because we have assured food supply tp the community now  and we can concentrate on other projects to develop our village community. The next wish would be to purchase agricultural machines, that would make it easier to cultivate the land with this hot temperatures," explains the Togolese project manager Kokouvi on site. "On public holidays, we visit the elderly and needy in the neighbourhood and distribute a bag of rice and other food. It's hard to imagine what this care means for the destitute people in the rural area. The work here is hard and exhausting, but every minute and every effort is worth it."

In December 2024, the local community was able to hand over many food donations from the farm. The children from the Christian Shaddai Saturday School received a great school bag as a gift.
